The Orange Terminal is a market-analysis project built to make sophisticated quantitative tools easier to understand and more accessible. Its central metric, the Orange Score, compresses a stock's current market health into a standardized 0–100 reading.
Why Orange Terminal exists
Professional market systems often expose hundreds of indicators while consumer products frequently reduce the answer to simplistic buy/sell labels. Orange Terminal takes a different approach: give people one understandable summary, show uncertainty explicitly, and keep the underlying diagnostics available for anyone who wants to go deeper.
Open source and research
The project includes an open-source implementation and a mathematical white paper. The intention is not to hide the machinery behind a proprietary black box, but to make the methodology inspectable and improvable.
